Amazon River Jaguars day 2 b
Had another game that really made me hate this game on how unbalance some teams are compare to others and how broken star players can be which is why I never use them even if I can but seems like everyone else uses them to be pretty much jerks. Anyway I am done for the day and maybe for a while that game really just got me down.

Game 7 - Orcs

Game - 7 Lesson learn during this game never play against Orcs again there to powerful for what there TV says. I had lead TV and it made 0 difference they just overpower me like it was a joke. I am sorry but the goal of beating all race might not be possible at all with Amazons.

Other news that game also made Kreousa needing to change her body after the game versus the Orc's. It all happened by a chainsaw.

I love 'zons! They aren't winning many tournaments for sure but against low TV they're so good with that dodge. You gave up a lot of unnecessary blocks. I think focusing on that might help you in the future. G'luck man!

I am trying to free up my guys blocking them and forcing them to blitz to block it just aint working for me so far... But that is what I try to do but when you just cant you just cant. I might be blind but more i try more i fail.

Maybe take a break for a bit. I know when I started out watching Azure's replays helped me get the ropes with Skaven. Watching Endzone play was great was great as well. Both are really good coaches.

If you don't mind seeing BB2 the_sage is awesome and probably the most fun to watch. His commentary makes the long game a little more interesting and the chat is fun too.

Well, that's just the definition of growth. You are gonna fail, a lot, and you will keep failing. but what's important is not succeeding, it's learning.

I think part of your problem might be the way in which you're percieving this game. Try not to get mad at bad rolls, understand what each player does, how likely it is to actually make stuff happen, and try to understand the way in which each element works, because understanding how your players can avoid the opposing players is the most important point on how to play the match.

However, the most important thing I can tell you is: Blood Bowl is a game mostly of chance. You will roll horrible dice every so often, and every so often you'll get extremely lucky. Sometimes you will do amazing and still lose, and other times you will play horribly and still win. every so often the dice will decided to ruin you. What's important is to remember that it is only a game, and whatever kind of bad luck happens in it you should not get mad. In fact, getting mad will only cause you to missplay. Don't let your bad luck get into your head. I know it's easier said than done, but it's important to practice your self control with games of luck like this one. so yeah, try to have fun and find glory despite your luck. I think Paul Hicks was the one to say it best: "...you know, if the worst thing that happens to you is you roll a bunch of 1s and your computer pixels die, then you should consider it a damn good day."

Your motto should be, If you cant win, whine.

Why don't you just play Orcs if they are over powered?

The blitz chance on your ball carrier was key. That one square carrier movement you did in turn 4 put your carrier in danger. But you are not too far away from where you need to be. Less follow up against people who can 2db you, and try not to 1db much yourself.

Orcs are op now?

Are you sure that this game is for you?

MY advice is to learn to screen rather than cage vs a bash team like this. Use your players to take up space further upfield so that there is a clearer run for your ball handlers.

Also avoid 5+ dodges!

I had a match recently against zons. Across the whole game I only managed 6 successful blocks.

It swings both ways!

Orcs are not really OP, friendo, though they are a great team! Try making an Orc team and playing one, if you haven't yet!

Orcs are the best team to learn blood bowl with. If you haven't tried an orc team yet, they are great to play with as they teach you a LOT about the game:

The importance of skills (block on blitzers, sure hands on thrower), the risks of throwing a 2d without block (black orcs with str 4), and they really teach you the importance of caging. They are also a nice team to play at low TV because AV 9 almost all across the board will let you finish most games with the roster mostly alive (of course, AV9 dies, too, but much less often).

It's not the dice.
It's not the race.
It's not the opponent.
It's not the site.
It's not the game.

It is you.

And at the moment your passion and interest is motivating the community in to trying really hard to help you. But when some of our best and brightest analyse your game and give pointers, you counter them. When seasoned 5000 game veterans offer sage advice, you dismiss it.

Good luck, you are welcome here. I hope you stay, gain experience and look back and laugh at all this. But so far everything I see tells me this may not be for you.

Maybe if he makes a BlackBox team, that would help him learn the hard reality of blood bowl? No better way to learn than the most painful way...
