Versus a weaker, recently started Skaven team who've suffered casualties in their previous game against a Dark Elf team I've surely just GOTTA win this... they do get an iron man on the handicap roll however.

The game begins well with me winning the toss, seriously injuring a Skaven lineman during the first LOS battles, soon recovering the ball & forming two packs (One pack, primarily of blitzers, up field & another in the backfield with the ball).

The two groups soon meet up field forming a massive cage.

The battles resulted in seven Skaven casualties (including their rat ogre fouled into submission & a killed lineman) & one for me.
I then drove it in for a TD on turn 8.
Annoyingly the Skaven managed to KO my Black Orc blocker just before half time, worse yet most of the Skaven were back on the pitch by the 2nd half.

The back to strength Skaven soon scored with a fine play by a gutter runner, they even inflicted some casualties on me plus I got a player sent off.

In the third drive I played a really nice set of moves & false deceptions to spread the Skaven all over the place... setting them up for a potential game winning TD throw to my free Orc blitzer.

However I got hammered in by gutter runners & didn't have enough time (or luck... I just needed to make one dodge roll) to break free (I should probably have 'let' the Skaven score earlier)... end result a 1-1 draw.

Not too bad... not too good either


My team has been upgraded off the pitch... in recent games I've added a new Orc Blitzer & after this game a Troll. My Passer 'Bred Faver' has been given the dump off skill... useful considering how many times he's been sacked.
