Snapping out of a bad streak
I'm 0/3/10 in my past 13 games. I feel I'm progressing since I've started playing again this year, but my results lately have just been horrendous. I'm trying to complete the BBT3 as an educational goal and prepare for the GLT, but it's been quite a slog.

Please send encouragements, advices or insults to help me snap out of my funk.

Have a break for a day, clear your head then try again. Aim to have fun non win. Best of luck!

I think mind set to me is the most important thing once you master the basics. As soon you think you are going to lose, it's kinda a self fulfilling prophecy. This is why i think a lot of us can go on big losing streaks.

I had a really bad start to BBT2, I had something like 17 games with no win, on top of this faced something like 12 blitzes against and 1 for... But despite this, i managed to still end with most teams above 50% win rate. You can turn it around! Good luck!

Well, I have won one (1!!!) match the last 17 games, so if you find a way out of your route, pls let me know ;)

Or, we all have different streaks. I remember I had a 11 games without a loss a year ago or so, and it is all about the details. Just try to take a step back and try out something different for a while.

I knew I had bad positioning so I did go 100 matches with dwarfs in the black box, and I got better. You dont have to do something that radical, but try a completly different race for maybe 10 games and see what you learned from that and try to think of that blood bowl is just a game, and dont let a loss get to you so every game is a new game.

Good luck and see you out there :)

Yep. I've been there a few times. Losing streaks can be demoralising. Just stick with it.

Pro-advice: if you play against someone with a losing streak, one of you 2 will end his streak! :-)

I play stunties to relax and bring the joy of blood bowl back to me when it seems to disappear. Since stunties (as all teams) are not for everyone, maybe you have a different team that you particularly enjoy no matter the results? Especially playing a team that doesn't matter might help, to get out of the pressure of box trophy and team building for the GLT.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for the encouragements! I like the idea of having a team to let off some steam so to speak, so I've started building one with particularly nice fluff too.

Play me I'll tell you where you went wrong on turn six.

Having a team (or teams) where you don't care so much about whether they win or not works for me.

Yep. It’s nice to have care free games in the Box. My smashington greenskins do the trick: the sole mission of the team is to make Flash Rip’nsmasher the biggest orc star in the box. Winning or losing doesn’t matter as long as he scores. (Which is kind of the way I’ve always played soccer....). Enjoy your lucky streak when it inevitably comes. :)
