Windows 8... Help Me!
So, I decided to try out the Windows 8 Preview Release and install it into my (little-used) laptop. I spend an hour with multiple restarts and finally get it up, then...

Help! I can't recognize anything, find the taskbar or start internet explorer (yuck). Anyone have experience and can point out what to do?

I was undecided, and hence tries this preview. So far it's pushing me towards Apple

I think they removed the taskbar and start menu. Why I am going to stick with win7 and first see how people are going to "welcome" win8

People usually wait until they have got the first service pack.

Previews are for programmers IMO.

Fumbbl still runs fine on XP. ;)

Windows 8 is going to be another vista, or NT don't go there, you are better off with win7 or waiting for 9 which will hopefully be a lot better.
