The Monday Mighty Massacre

This one goes down in history as the Monday Mighty Massacre. In the first half the Humans tried to get a TD but were stopped by the Norse shortly after the LOS. After some nice fighting the Norse got the ball and carried it safely to the Human endzone. TD! Nothing extraordinary so far. With only one turn left for the Humans, they decided to take out as many players as possible. And they did, even ignoring the death of one of their own.
So the Norse returned with only 9 Players to the second half, but were still very confident to win this game. What is strength in numbers to the northern will...
But then the mayor mistake happed, the Norse in their drive for the second TD, left the ball unprotected for a moment... Yeah you got it. The humans got hold of the ball and scored, while still in frenzy mode taking out more and more Norse players.
Again 6 Norse return to the pitch now with the main goal of not allowing the humans a second TD. They did very well, even so they had to hurl the ball deep in the human half with no one waiting there to pick it up. This caused the Humans to actually panic for a moment, but also fueled their frenzy some more.
Sadly the remaining 4(!) Norse could not prevent the the second TD in the last turn. But they were close, and all Norse fans saluted the spirit of the team.
While taking out players is a valid and often used tactic, this Monday Mighty Massacre is the worst in Norse-History so far recorded (well, at least in my book).

Gave you 6 for writing a full game report; we need more people to do that.
As said earlier, though, that's nothing like a massacre. In my few 50 games with a Norse Team I've seen something a *little* bit more like a massacre (http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2490335). So just you wait until you get to a high TS and face off against a claw/rsc + DP loaded chaos team :)

OK, I see... I haven't got the full picture of the suffering to come. 8 CAS including 3 times death seems to be a record I will try to avoid.
Thx for the great rating. I made it a habit recently, to write game reports, because I agree we need more of those. They are the extra salt in the wound :-)

Nice report and nice bloody game, but it´s nowhere near historic ;)
