This is my first blog and I choose to write about fouling. I'm frustrated that people complain so much about late-game fouling.

I just played a game in which my opponent asked me why I fouled on turn 15. The reason was obvious, there was a prone blodge werewolf next to my ball carrier. I fouled and -ag SI'ed it. Then I scored on turn 16, without any chance to lose the ball in the mean time. A good play in my opinion.

I tell my opponent, and he smiles, because he knew why I did it.

He also asked me why not score 2 turns earlier when I had the chance. Again the reason was obvious: playing for the draw was safe, and there was almost no way that my team could score in 3 defensive turns against ww's and ghouls (all I had was one ma6 wight and the rest ma4 zombies). Again, he knew why I did it.

Of course he did!! It was the smart play to make, that is why I did it!

What I'm trying to say here, is that what I hated most was the arrogance and inappropriateness of asking me why I stalled and fouled. He knew why, but he asked anyway to feel better or get an impression of moral superiority. Yet most players would have played those turns the same way I did, probably including himself.
