So today,
Aesgurd became the equal #1 Most Valuable Player of All-Time for the Squig Herder race, having earned a total of 9 MVP awards.
Amazingly, he is neither a Hopper (as the now joint-record holder alongside him is), nor a Squig, but a lowly Herder without a single stat increase or double. Even more amazingly, he has achieved this feat in only 22 games!
Aesgurd is famous for doing absolutely nothing on the pitch, and afterwards letting the MVP judging committee know all about it. His coach rarely even fields him, for fear that one of the Squigs will get hungry and be left with nobody else to snack on. Still, it will only take one more eye-catching performance from him to become the Most Valuable Squig Herder ever, if only he can stay alive long enough to enjoy it ...
