First legend update
It is with sadness in my heart that I announce the retirement of Springor Hop-Hop, famed pogo for the Scabby Eye Saracens, my first legend and top active goblin scorer.
Since becoming legend he's had a bit of an iffy run: wanting assurances of his own personal apoth, saying he was a better pogo than Stick Steve (blatantly not true) and general larking about instead of turning up to practice.
It was this larking about that led to him breaking his neck in a game vs some orcs. This loss of agility means he no longer handles the ball with the ease and finesse he once did. His pogo stick with the horse head sculpted on the end, that he once rode, no, danced, around the pitch so elegantly is now like a leadpipe in his hands.
He's being sent off to a "farm upstate", Old Yeller's retirement home for goblins.
In other news, the SES are pleased to announce a new sponsorship with Old Yeller's foodstuff division, who will be providing catering at their home ground.
Auditions are expected to begin soon to find Springor's replacement. Rumours that it will form the basis for a new reality show on CabalVision are, as yet, unconfirmed.
Farewell Springor. The gobbo dun good. Not as good as Stick Steve, but still passable.
Team captain armband will pass to Other 'Un the troll, who promises not to eat it.

Great player, but of all the injuries -ag was the worst he could have - probably the right choice :D

RIP Sprin..errrm I mean Happy Retirement Springor that "farm upstate" sounds like a wonderful place to retire.

To be fair, he did originally die from the hit (the second time he would have died) but the apoth applied a delicate balance of ground up herbs and blows to the head and was able to bring him round.

Plus side, bought a new pogo, 3 TDs in first game and he rolled a double for block. Huzzah.
