Well the Betties took their first loss today playing against a tough Chaos Dwarves team by the name of Smoldering Resentment. It was a hard game for the Betties going but we knew the risks and since the hope is to get a match against all the races one that we had to take. The only bright moment of the match was a late second half score by blitzer Rita Riot but this is dampened by the fact that she blew her age roll on the skill up and now has a niggling injury. We had one major injury as well to our thrower so she is out next match but we have enough money in the coffers to replace her. All in all it wasn't a horrible outcome given that we fully expected to lose this one.
