Grotty Little Tournament - Old Teams Qualifier I: Round Two
After barely managing to squeak out a win against the Lone Stars, Watchmen Philosophy has moved on to play Pete's Ultimate Superheroes.

I don't know if I should be grateful for the good fortune Nuffle bestowed by allowing the crazy finish against Qaz, or resentful that my team's reward for the miracle upset is to face off against the luckiest bastard in FUMBBL history.

Either way, be sure to tune in to cheer or boo sometime next week, either Tuesday or Wednesday evening. We'll keep you posted on the time.

I think the Woodies are too beaten up to stand a chance. A POMB slow drive to their death.

I will be rooting for woodies none-the-less! God, I don't want to face the Watchmen in the GLT.

Aiming for Wednesday night now. Still 21:00 server time. Nerdbird, here's hoping we meet up at some point. Dwarves have always been a particular thorn in my side. :)

I will be honest....I don't want to play a team like the Watchmen. Not exactly a fair match-up. Your record versus Dwarfs is 8-0. TD differential is 15-1. Casualty differential is 39-11.

I hadn't looked that closely at the stats. I just knew that dwarves have historically given me problems (presumably, now that I've seen the stats, with other teams).

I imagine that your dwarves facing off against the Watchmen is a bit like an amazon team taking on your dwarves. But we'll see how it goes - sometimes Nuffle decides things are going to go one way, even when the game looks decided on paper already.
