I probably give leap more credit than it's due, but I freakin love this skill.

Your opponent has caged up, and you can't easily get the ball. What do you do? Send in a lineman to neutralize tackle zones, leap in with a blitzer and one die block the sucker.

Your opponent has an impenetrable defense and you have the ball. Leap over the line and dodge into the endzone!

Ok, so it's not the best chances all the time to use leap, but it just allows for the planning of some really spectacular (and fun) plays.

In general, I think leap makes for a more fun game than 8 turns of defense, then 2 turns of offense and another 6 turns of defense.
