I’m beginning to doubt this game. I really am. Last game first turn I rolled a [1] on blood lust. You might not think that’s very remarkable, but the very next action. Blood lust roll… [4]! Yes a [4]!

The odds of rolling a [1] then a [4], is 1/36! I guess with enough dice rolls you can expect the odd freak event like this to happen. But look what happened next….

Blood lust roll [3]!, Blood lust roll [2]! Pickup roll [3].

This sequence. [1][4][3][2][3]… the odds of that exact sequence are astounding! 1 in 7,776!

Do you know what I was thinking? That there is no way my next few dice rolls will be a [5], [2], [5]
Blood lust roll [5]
Blood lust roll [2]
Go for it roll [5]

Oh… my…. GOD! Odds of that are 1/1,679,616. More than one in a million!

The RNG is broken. I’m off to buy a lottery ticket.

Is that not the case for any sequence

Lovely.

This post should go in a Hall of Fame somewhere so everyone who comes to the site can see it.

Eight dice without even a single six? Shenanigans! There's only a 23% chance of THAT happening.

hmm, my flings rolled [3][1][4][1][5] twice in a match. Clearly a message from Nuffle as those are the first digits of pi! and flings like pie! aaaah! :D

ginger ale

Hmm. Every sequence of numbers my flings have ever rolled have appeared somewhere in the series of digits of pi. Clearly my flings have the superiour association with pie. They are the true children of pie!

Razmus, can you prove that? I think irrational number means that it does not get repetitive. But it can be true for 2 type of numbers, like 0 and 1 being used only. I know that pi's digits use all decimal numbers, but still not convinced all permutations will show up. (Not saying they wont, i cant prove that, just sceptic about your statement.)

If an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of typewriters given an infinite amount of time... but can I prove it? Nope. But it's an infinite non-repetitive series. *scratches.head* I'm not sure I have the mental tools to approach the problem, because brute force is going to take me longer than I have.

111111111 - Sorry, we couldn't find your string in Pi! But keep searching -- Pi contains lots of other interesting strings.

Conclusion, Nuffle is not the Lord of Pi

But Pi is unending. You simply need to search more digits. Two hundred million is simply not enough.

The numeric string 111111111 appears at the 812,432,526th decimal digit of Pi.
