<p>The little Isle of Wight is an island to the south of the 'White Isle'. Jealous of the success of their larger neighbour, the settlements of the island resolved to have their own league and the Wight Island Blood Bowl League (or WIBBL) was formed.</p>

<p>This is an English-speaking, UK time zone league, so coaches wanting to join should:<ol><li>be English speaking</li><li>be able to play between the hours of 19:00-23:00 GMT (20:00-00:00 BBT)</li><li>have experience of playing in FUMBBL leagues</li></ol></p>

<h3>New Teams</h3>
<p>Teams applying for membership of the league must be based on one of the island's towns and must be a rookie FFB [L]eague team <s>with a fan factor of at least 7</s>. ALL TEAMS TO PLAY SOLELY IN THE WIBBL. NO OUTSIDE GAMES PERMITTED.</p>

<p><b>Applicants which do not meet these criteria (i.e. not FFB, not based in an Isle of Wight town or from applicants with little or no League experience) will be automatically deleted</b>.

<p>Games are to be played according to the schedule. 1 game/10 days - though a rolling schedule is in place, if you are able to play ahead then you may do so.

<br />The League is split into 4 start of season TW capped Tiers, these being:
<br /><b>Premier - Unlimited TW
<br />Division 1 - 1900 TW Cap
<br />Division 2 - 1600 TW Cap
<br />Division 3 - 1300 TW Cap</b>

<p>We are currently working on a 2 up 2 down system for promotion and relagations,
<br>So the top 2 teams in a division get promoted whilst the bottom 2 teams get demoted.</p>

<p>Consists of the top 16 teams in WIBBL and is a straight KO Tounement.
<br>The Winner of the WIBBL KO Cup is crowned the best team in WIBBL</p>
<h3>The Wooden Spoon</h3>
<p>Is a KO Tournemant unique to WIBBL Consisting of the lowest 8 teams in terms of TW
<br>The twist that makes this tournament unique in FUMBBL is that the loosing teams goes through to the next round
<br>The Team that looses the Final of the Wooden Spoon is given the honour of the worst team in WIBBL</p>
<p><b>Overtime</b> in WIBBL cups is "Golden Goal", in accordance with FFB rules</p></div></td>

<p>All teams are allowed 2 weeks to play as many friendlies to be played between the end of the Cup phase and begining of the League phase, however, premiership teams are restricted to 2 friendlies only.
