The crowd were not disappointed.

Being the underdogs as usual, Team Chainsaw were raring to tear into another cocky Chaos side and roared into a 1-0 half time lead. Receiving the play in the second half, it looked like the home team were on their way to another glorious victory. Furious Beatdown fans snapped and poured over onto the pitch in the direction of a terrified referee. The away side seized the opportunity and, with the ref in no mood to object, stamped and fouled their way through the entire half. With dwindling numbers, Coach Chainsaw could do little as his players bravely tried to hold on but it was a war of attrition the local boys could not survive.

Goran the veteran black orc blocker met his demise under the boot of an anonymous dirty beastman. His years of service were rewarded with a spectacular death which saw an eyeball travel at least 15 yards and surprising the ball carrier. His brains will be peeled off the pitch and jarred in honour of a true warrior who always lead the line fearlessly.

Rump can't quite make the same claim. Taking a nasty knock, he could be seen scratching at his wound to prevent his troll flesh from repairing properly. Fans booed as they noticed he was not too eager to rejoin the bloodbath unfolding in front of him.

Coach Chainsaw was unavailable for comment after the game. The team coach was loud with music and flowing with beer in celebration of one of the outstanding players to, for want of a better word, grace the 'Saws roster.

Coach DeathGerbil would only issue a statement on behalf of his club that the referee's family will not be hunted down and garrotted and that it was only an idle threat as he had complied so nicely and helped his team win. Fans could be seen nodding in approval at the back of the room.”
