“A very different match. My opponent had a lot more ST on his players than me, having not only the normal CW's and big guy, but also having +ST on a CW and a Beastman. On top of this, he got Illegal Drugs as one of his handicap rolls.

I was expecting to be beaten to a pulp :P

After a daring play, however, I managed to -2d block his ST5 CW out of the field, dodge to pick up the ball with a Blitzer and run to pass it into the huddle of players I had lined up to get to his carrier. Sadly, my Blitzer couldn't pass for shit and instead threw it to my opponent only standing player in the vicinity, who promptly rolled a 6 to catch it.

I was devistated. My awesome play foiled by incredible bad luck.

I still managed to do alright. I kept my Thrower safe and has Catchers to pass to, and with some luck of the dice I was able to keep the game at 2-2 for the second half.

As it happens, I screwed up at a time when I could, maybe, have stolen the ball. It was still in the hands of a ST5 CW, but with a few blocks I could've cleared the way and blitzed with my Ogre, that is, of course, if he decided to not roll a 1. Instead of all of that, I over looked the ST4 Beastman and started out with a 1d block where I rolled a Skull and rerolled another Skull.

There was no stopping the Chaos then, and instead I just pushed on to force him to score. I did manage to do so, and had the chance to chainpush for a last turn goal with my MA9 Catcher, but I screwed that up as well.

All things considered it was an awesome game which ended in a fair result. I look forward to playing you again, Sickhumor :)”
