1st skill (08/09/2006 at 03:10) - Accurate
The obvious choice for the team's Thrower was of course Accurate, which everyone agreed on without exception.

2nd skill (13/09/2006 at 00:40) - Block
I was very surprised at how much discussion a normal skill for a Thrower could cause. A lot of people wanted Block for Neil so he wouldn't go down so easy. With argument I never fully understood, Julia argued that Neil should get Tackle. It was an interesting talk, but in the end most people wanted to go with what they knew. I guess those "rarely seen but useful" skill combinations don't go well with a team where the majority of opinion rules the skill choices.

3rd skill (25/09/2006 at 11:45) - Safe Throw
The discussion was again about Tackle; this time against Safe Throw. Julia, more than before, wanted to get Tackle now that Neal had gotten Block. heinz for one was against it due to people in the Ranked Division turning down games because of it.
In the end there was majority for getting Safe Throw and no one complained when given a last chance to voice their objections to it.

4th skill (01/01/2007 at 21:45) - Dump Off
At first Doowa wanted to go with Pass Block, but he also thought about Dump Off as an option. Ulm was leaning towards Dump Off as well, but also suggested Pro. Sp0n wanted to go with Dump Off too, so the others agreed to compromise and take that as they all felt it could be useful.

While Neal has done great as the top thrower on the team, it was decided not to send in the apothecary after Big Benny knocked him down and damaged his back. While he's performed well, he hasn't managed to roll any doubles, so it was time for him to retire anyway.
