“In a violent game against some greenskins the Blunderbussers suffered from an early pitch invasion (those crowds nowadays...) and never fully recovered. By turn 4 in the first half star player Raging Bull blitzed himself to death (dubbel skulls, failed apoth) and slim Mushroom, the only one with a decent chance to pick up the ball in the pouring rain was fouled off the pitch (ending his career prematurely with a niggling injury). So all pressure came on the broad shoulders of Uzuk, a brand new blocking troll. He liked his new role as the Blunderbussers emergency blitzer so much that the coach wasn't able to stop him opening cages until the moment he took one too many blows on the head and stayed in the ko box for the remainder of the game. In the end Mushroom's death was finally avenged by putting the boot on the prone body of an opposing blitzer, but it was far too late to recover the game...”
