This looked like a very close game but it was ultimately decided well before kick off when Coach Swifty decided to try not feeding the minotaur, thinking a hungry minotaur would be an angry minotaur. And by the time the teams were lined up, the creature was incredibly angry, with Logans Man players forced to hold it in place.

Coach Chainsaw could sense that the minotaur was perhaps the biggest threat, and instructed rookie fouler Scar Tissue to take advantage. The black orcs brought it down, Scar Tissue obliged and stuck his foot in, and the roar of agony as the groin inverted made practically every child in the stand cry. A gleeful Coach Chainsaw was somewhat dismayed when a nervous and rather disgusted apothecary managed to pull the animal's rather large appendage back out.

The minotaur was back in play, and now it wasn't angry - it was hungry, hurt somewhere nothing likes to get hurt, anger is not nearly a strong enough term. This creature was fuming with rage, it was rabid, blood vessel poppingly mad. It roared, it flexed it's oversized muscles, and shook it's horns in an intimidating display rarely equaled on the blood bowl field. And then it was half time, the 'Saws were 1-0 up with the game and the orc players having long since passed the distracted minotaur by. A worried looking Coach Swifty instructed his staff to bring as many snacks as they could carry to appease the rather unhappy minotaur, luring it back to the dressing room.

A more focused looking minotaur took to the scrimmage line in the second half. Coach Swifty folded his arms, satisfied that his unpredictable player would be at the forefront of a Logans Man fightback. It lined up against an orc lineman, ready to bore him with its oversized horns. As the minotaur locked eyes with his victim, he seemed to recognise that it was Scar Tissue, the vicious orc that had caused it such pain! The minotaur roared, coarsely at first, then seemed to choke a bit. It belched up an awful smell - a foul mixture of rotten goblin carcases and fresh ones from the half time snack - that distracted the players around it. The beast shook off the involuntary bodily function, pushed out its chest, roared almost as loud as it had in the half previous, and looked for the unlucky subject of its rage. There wasn't anybody nearby - it was 2-0, and the Chainsaw players were celebrating having sealed the victory whilst the Logans Man players had tried in vain to stop the Team Chainsaw drive without the useless minotaur.

An impressive play by hobgoblin Logan was only a consolation, and a disconsolate Coach Swifty will be a bit more cautious before making his minotaur so angry again before a game.
