Good news, I've got the day off. Coach Evo came to me and said that I could take the next match off as they were going to play a recovery match against i3rutus' Drums of Doom.

"Are you sure that's a wise move?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. i3rutus came to me asking for a recovery match against his dwarven team. It should be a safe game to take a vacation on. Seriously, how could a team with less than a full roster and missing key position players be much of a threat against our squad." replied Coach Evo.

"But Evo, Equitas probably won't show for the match, and that would leave us with 8 players. Even a undermanned dwarven squad could hurt our team."

"They won't even be able to cover the whole field, if they have less than 11 players. So, our team shouldn't be getting blocked much at all."

"But you are forgetting the curse. Players are dropping like flies. I should be around in case it strikes again."

"You've been too busy lately. You deserve a vacation. Go do some hiking in the Caledor mountains like you've been talking about for so long."

It seems that the Drums of Doom showed up with a full roster and no key position players were missing. Equitas missed the game. The Anarchists were overwhelmed by the dwarven horde. Half the team was knocked out for the whole match and desperately missed my services. But worse of all the curse struck again and Collectiva was killed. I'm off to yet another funeral. It seems like I got to more funerals than Blood Bowl matches these days.
”
