“With only one tackler against another Amazon opponent 30 TS up, the Ladies didn't feel quite comfortable. The first block of the game resulting in a RIP (apoth failed)of blodging guard Theresa didn't help things at all...
But then suddenly it all changed. Some good deep kicks combined with Nuffle on my side (opposing ag 4 thrower threw snakes to pick up the ball and misthrew a few times later) and somehow the Ladies managed to lead by halftime with an astonishing 3-0. And I had been kicking in the first half...
But then things went exactly the opposite way. Another RIP on lithe but fragile Martine, a blitz, a failed pickup and it was 3-1. Too late however to threaten the win. But with an aging Caterina after the game (3rd skill roll), the Ladies paid a high win tax indeed.
Great game for a great gate. At least the winnings made up for something.

bram did a great job and certainly kept me on my toes. Not once did I have a juicy foul until towards the end. Didn't take it since the game was decided...and realized bram will need all the players he can muster for his next opponent.
