“Again an upward battle with a TS difference of almost 30 points. The handicaps made up for a lot though (virus took out both 4 AG Ladz), but maybe I shouldn't have stacked Buzzing and Nuckledusters on one player. Still, with only Séverine as a tackler against 4 opposing tacklers it would be a very tough game. Due to a an unlucky failed dodge of an opposing blitzer (but a lucky blitz on my ballcarrier the turn before) who had snatched away the ball, I could fairly easily mark the 1-0 touchdown to take the lead halfway.

I tried to slow down the Ladz in the second half, but my only Tackler was KO'd pretty soon and I was outnumbered 9 to 11. Difficult to defend like that, so a logical 1-1 and overtime.

Tactics (of both teams) changed dramatically in overtime. Nuffle made me receiving and I reasoned that if I could score, I would have a decent chance to win the game (2-1 or 2-2 and coin toss). So I decided to try some risky elven-style ballplay with ag 3 zons. The reason behind it was that I wasn't able anyway to defend the ball and bash myself through (my only tackler was badly hurt meanwhile). It paid off and I scored the 2-1.

Then Wreckage decided to not let the game be decided by a coin toss and scored in two turns in the same style as well. 2-2 and four turns to go. The Ladies from the South had to pull it off once more. But zons are no elves and my catcher Luba miscaught the ball (in a tackle zone). In the following rumble I was outnumbered, outguarded and outtackled. That and a poor blitz decision in the last turn made the stronger team win the game. All in all a fair result.
