“Buccaneers rise to the Challenge

Well the Buccaneers showed up tonight and got some good fortune and some bad in this one. They took some lumps but in the end came away with the victory!!

The airguitarist threw down the undefeated gauntlet and the bucs picked it up and ran with it. A tight game that went back and forth. The game basically came down to 2/6 when Peterson got taken down on a kapowie and fumbled the ball. Then orcs recovered and needed to get him back on the ground which they did with another kapow and it looked like the game was over. The Orcs go flying down the field and attempt the pass but fumble the ball. The Bucs thinking the game was over just lay down on the ground and Ryunon moves down field towards the showers. Well the orcs thinking the game was in the bag start to celebrate as the thrower goes over to pick up the ball and deliver it for the game winner. HE FUMBBLES!!! it goes into the crowd and Ryunon all of sudden is right in the middle of the play. Peterson dashes down field and Ryunon picks up the ball and hits him in stride in the glaring sunlight. The Orcs fall back but cannot bring down Peterson who dodges in for the win.

Great match with a lot of ups and downs but very satisfying that the Bucs can post the first loss on this orc squad.”
