“After my St4 blodge blitzer niggled himself with a double skull block in the last turn of my previous game, Nuffle continued to shamelesly show his cruel nature in this travesty of a game. Rarely experienced such a one-sided match like this one.
Not considering a relatively early casualty (nicely apothed by my opponent; a bit reckless even because it was only a badly hurt, but I guess he knew then already that I wouldn't achieve anything anymore anyway), nothing seemed to work. Two snakes and a double skull on a blitz in which I already used my reroll for a 2+ dodge didn't help matters either. Neither did the 0/3 ko rolls at halftime after I barely managed to prevent losing the ball on offense. Bad dice, but actually nothing spectacular. What really killed the game was the bizarre luck of Spiro (he succesfully argued the ref's call three times after a foul!!), a perfect defense and a dozen ko's of which only two players recovered. He even threw a double 12 once on an injury...
The game was so surreal that it actually became funny again. All in all I had a good laugh against a friendly coach who also realized the absurdness of the situation.
Nevertheless at least a bit of a weird game from a statistical point of view...
I obviously lost a fan factor and the only player who shouldn't have gotten the mvp - my 75 spp thrower - got him anyway and aged a niggling injury of course...”
