Despite Zeplin missing the game due to a niggling injury, a combative first half went well for the 'Saws. Orc fans delighted at new dirty player Barnacle making multiple fouls, only to be dismayed at his eventual dismissal. Chaos Dwarf fans were enraged that it took so long for the referee to intervene. Disgruntled fans from both teams mobbed the referee at half time, meaning there was nobody to enforce the rules for the 2nd period.

Cloggy and his Doomy Diggers came out best after Coach Chainsaw made it too easy for a bull centaur to sneak around the back and take down dirty player Cinders, a foul removing him from the field for the rest of the match.

With fewer and fewer players in the dying moments of the game, the Chainsaw players lost their composure and it was far too easy for the Doomy Diggers to overrun the dwindling orc team and comfortably score the winner.”
