“I really should have won this game, and anybody witnessing the state of play 4 turns in to the 2nd half would be bemused at the eventual scoreline.
With only 6 players left on the pitch, France 2010 were getting beaten up. The Count slipped away from a diving tackler, a 6+ long bomb with no reroll is made. The orcs get back, just, and mob the Count although can't get the ball from him. He makes a 6+ dodge through two tackle zones away from a diving tackler, but fails the go for it to score. I fail the go for it to get to the ball. The Count scores.
1-0 down from a winning position... an amazing deep kick, then another snake eyes and my lineman is on his butt at the wrong end of the pitch with 1 turn left. Luckily, that's all the time required for another miracle touchdown; pick up, long throw, catch, go for its, hand off, and a final go for it all without needing a reroll, and it's 1-1.”
“I had stupid amount of cash so I hired both the Count and Ramtut. Chainsaw had Morg on his side.
Played a pretty good first half defensive wise preventing the Orcs TD. Then, on second half, I had to rely on some voodoo magic to have the score. Great long bomb to Count, but who then fails a GFI. Orcs also fails a GFI to pick up the ball and I score turn 14.
With 2 turns to go, looks a possible hold-up win, but I fail a blitz with my no-block golem and then, Orcs do it elfish way with pick-ups, long pass, gfis, hadnoffs and gfis to make the tie.
A very exciting and amusing game.”
