“The necros got the ref in turn one and it would hurt for the remainder of the first half. Luckily my gutters didn't disappoint me and pulled some tricks from their sleeve to steal the 0-1. Meanwhile the rats' lines were thinned a bit and that in combination with uninspired defense from my side led to the equalizer before half time.

A failed pick-up tricked the necros in some opportunistic behaviour which even got them the ball. I got it back though and left the necros totally out of position. With some luck I managed to stall for a few turns before making the touchdown. Still 2 turns to go though, and the same uninspired defense would be by-passed too easily for the second equalizer of the game.

Edit: after buying a new player I realized I actually had a kicker... and I kept kicking off to the centre of the pitch... silly indeed.

Hmm, normally I'm good at defending, this game must be the exception confirming the rule I guess...
