It all started even before the game commenced with a niggler refusing to play resulting in only 10 starting players. I suffered two perms in the first turn on the same player (concussion and fractured skull -> very painful head for Isildur) followed by a niggle in the second turn of the game. Somewhere deep in the second half a rip would only add further insult to injury.

Granted, my opponent snaked twice on a go for it, but without too much consequences because by then my team was thinned too much already.

Luckily the spirit of the game was good and I had fun nevertheless. Nuffle moves in mysterious ways...”
