“ANARCHIST STADIUM, HOETH (AP) - An a glorious sunday afternoon, we witnessed an exhibition match between the Coldstone Cold Stones and the Noble Anarchists of Hoeth. This would be the debut game of Bang Mortor, son of aging blitzer Tang Mortor who had just retired.
"We were surprised to recieve an invition for a game of touch Blood Bowl from the 'Noble' Anarchists, but were only too happy to accept with the promise of such a large sum of money that such a game would generate." said Asperon Thorn. "I don't know why I was surprised when it turned out to be an AMBUSH by the treacherous High Elves. Ever since my boys crushed them in our last match up, they have been frontrunners in trying to expel my teams, from the league, for alleged cheating."
This was certainly no game of touchball today. The Noble Anarchists continued to hammer the Cold Stones from the first play. The Anarchists seriously injured Crank Badquartz, early, as well as knocking out several Dark Elves from the start and scoring twice in quick succession. In a surprise gamble, Asperon Thorn used his Apothecary on Crank just to keep him in for the rest of the game.
"We thought that killing Libertifil might REMIND the 'noble' Anarchists of the 'touchball' agreement, but then they badly hurt another of my boys and knocked Pumice for another serious injury." commented Asperon Thorn in disgust.
Libertifil was saved by some quick work from overtaxed Kerrieth, the Anarchists Apothecary, and the Anarchists continued to pumel the Stones further.
"Any game of 'touch' that Asperon Thorn had thought was to happen, was that of us touching his players inards" coach Evo was heard to say. "Asperon has long manipulated the press and the rules to his advantage and we would never have made the mistake of hindering ourselves with rules that he would have no intention of following."
Well it looks like we can add this to another of the controversies surrounding Asperon Thorn. Frankly, this reporter is having trouble keeping up with all of them.
". . .And, if to add insult to our injuries, the Anarchists stole a huge portion of our winnings. 40000 gold to be exact. We will remember this day, and the Anarchists will learn to regret thier treachery." Finished Asperon Thorn, before departing from Hoeth.”
