They tightened up a cage and started marching forward, laying down the pain as they went. 2 Saurus were taken out very early, and more would be KOd as the game went on. Skinks left the pitch at an alarming rate, until the end of the first half when only Shindahl was left. Shrieking tried to hit back and did some damage to zombies and one ghoul, but they couldn't keep up.

But then the undead forgot about Krrronk! Standing in a boneheaded daze, he wasn't marked; and a Saurus cleared a path! He blitzed, went for it twice, hit the blodging S4 carrier!! AND!! Double down/skull!!!!!! Team re-roll, loner passed, POW! The ball is FREE! Shindahl swoops, and rushes an amazing 22 yards to score a turn 8 defensive touchdown.

Second half. One skink wakes up! So.. Shindahl, one inskilled skink, Krrronk, and 3 Saurus vs 11 slavering undead brutes. Shindahl does a pass/hand off in our backfield to kill time. Undead Lunge forward like japanese jumping zombies! The skink whips to the sideline, Shindahl right behind, a second successful pass so that Shindahl hopefully won't be the main target. And one Saurus blitzes to cover the approach. The strength 4 inhuman tackling wight blitzes the Saurus.. and gets greedy! 2 push re-rolls into 2 skulls!! The Saurus blitzes the marking zombie and moves downfield to cover Shindahl on the sideline! The skink screams past and hands the ball to Shindahl! Hordes of undead approach from all sides, and the skink battens down the doors and windows while the Saurus clubs encroaching ghouls at every turn! And they scream SHINDAHL! RUN!!! And Shindahl does! Dodge dodge dodge again! Go for it twice and TOUCHDOWN!

Dawn is visible on the horizon. 2 more skinks wake up and line up on the LOS with Krrronk. The undead barrage commences. They can't be stopped. Both skinks are pulverized, although the Saurus take several more zombies too. They score in 3 turns, leaving 2 turns to equalize.

Dawn can't arrive fast enough.

But what's this? Shindahl has earned 8 SPP! One more and.. and.. he will be a LEGEND! There's even a team re-roll left!

BUT THERE ARE NO OTHER SKINKS! And the crowd riots! Only one turn! Shindahl grabs the ball. Shindahl passes the ball! Tleloc FUMBLES THE CATCH!!!!! NO PASS FOR JOO!

The riot ensures the undead cannot win. Dawn arrives and Shrieking Bloodstorm stumbles out victorious.
