#8 Zeezee – Gouged Eye (MNG)
A tense fight with Arktoris' Elite Eleven (who he stole from Korando).

The first half went perfectly to plan, Shrieking Bloodstorm recieving, cas'ing an elf, KO'ing 3 more, and scoring on turn 7. But Shindahl was KO'd on turn 6, and Tialncal was badly hurt sometime early in the half.

Then Shindahl refused to wake up. Ever.

So the second half was a little trickier. The Elite Eleven moved confidently down field, and suddenly, they were hitting like trucks. More skinks were removed. A Saurus was stunned. And then they feinted beautifully for a turn 3 goal.

And THEN Elite Eleven said - we are dark elves! Lords of Bash! And commenced removing lizards from the pitch. The second last skink was badly hurt. Krrronk was KO'd. Strength 5 monster Sceral was KO'd. And then turn our turn 4 started. We hit like limp pillows. We ran like scared skinks. We screamed and cursed and railed, and tripped on GFI's. Elves passed 2+ important roll after 2+ important roll, and Arktoris' experience showed - he refused non important rolls, refused long passes, refused anything that might have a higher chance of failing. And it worked. While we managed to fight for the ball every single turn, it was often only one tackle zone on the ball, or a skink covering it; and then overachiever Edonif II, witch elf sacker extraordinaire, on turn 8, smashed his boot through Zeezee's back - only a fast acting maneuver involving the skinks eye (we gagged and moved away when the apo offered details) saved the skinks life. And the Witch Elf caught the ball. NO GOAL FOR JOO!

Shindahl had finally looked up from his contract promised pedicure and was laughing hysterically as the elves screamed furiously at being robbed of the win by the frenzied witch elf.

Thanks Arktoris! Nuffle was having a good laugh at this game!

#17 Edward Fastfist – Broken Neck (-AG)
Man was this a battle match!

Lizardmen leisurely plodded the ball towards the endzone, making me curse the lack of dauntless and stripball! But Calditil kept hyperdodging into teh cage and sacked the ballcarrier, if not for that #$%@# 4ag catcher skink we could have gotten an upset TD.

Edonif was backed by the power of Khorne and squished skinks to the very end. So great was her power, that she even caught the ball on a skink bash on turn 16...robbing us of the possible win. Promptly, she takes strip ball.

Arktoris rolls double 5s and tempts to take 10av...but we REALLY need a guard on the team. Refusing the coveted magical demon armor...he trains to become the team's guard. We shall see if it pays off.
