“Huge inducements saw huge players - Zug and Morg both came to help Sleepwalking Elite this match.

Shrieking Bloodstorm recieved in the first half, and after staring at a team that actually had as much strength as they did, decided to go for it anyway. With superior guard, and a very lucky 1 die frenzy block on Morg, the Saurus KO'd 6 players including Morg over the course of the first half. This allowed Shindahl to give Telleek the ball for a Saurus touchdown. A perfect quick snap touchback kick allowed the Elite to try for a beautiful one turn, but after all the pushing and powing and blitzing-of-the-stand firm blodge diving tackle saurus, the catcher failed his first dodge around a skink.

Second half saw Sleepwalking Elite score fairly quickly; and a riot turned it into a 2 turn touchdown. This allowed Shrieking Bloodstorm 7 turns to score; sending a skink forward with the ball, 10 squares from the tackle blitzer turned out to be too much temptation - and the wizard came out to stun Zeerak, the super star diving tackle Saurus, allowing an easy single GFI blitz pow on the skink. However, Shrieking Bloodstorm then swarmed the ball, seriously injuring the screening catcher, and throwing an ever growing pile of skinks at the blitzer to prevent him from moving, while the 2 ogres and Zug battled it out uselessely with 3 Saurus in the middle. Eventually the blitzer was shoved right off the pitch, with the crowd throwing the ball neatly into the middle of the backfield of the Elite.. and Shindahl was right there, picking up the ball, and scoring on turn 8 for a 2-1 victory.
