“The Ego Defence system's hitting in the first half was incredible with the Orcs dealing ko's and casualties all over the field (4 players out after turn 2 despite a pitch invasion). It was a desperate half for us and despite Draknil's efforts we were too outnumbered and conceded just before half time. But with regen and good ko recovery we managed to put out a patched up but weaker starting 11 for the 2nd half. Draknil made a risky dash for the line and got clear to keep the game interesting with an equalizer. On their drive we swamped their cage but they got away by cruelly niggling NecroPhil and producing a lovely pass between Orcs. Draknil couldn't take the receiver down with a couple of blitz attempts and the game ends in defeat.

With 6 losses in our last 8 matches against more bashier sides it is clear our lack of power is a problem. Dwight Wight's true death and a niggle to the promising Necro Phil don't help at all though maybe Mumm-Ra will learn to become more reliable soon..”
