This mummy was formerly a huge hedgeknight who delighted in torturing prisoners and even switched sides if feeling spiteful. Eventually killed by a former paymaster and an angry mob.
Now he is a fearsome fighter on the Bloodbowl field. Although just one cas from 118 blocks in 20 games draws doubt on that. Will he ever prove himself?... Yes!
Got a cas against Chaos Dwarfs in match 21. In his 23rd match the Mountain doubled his cas total with 2 against Wood Elves (1000 Dances with Death) and was given the MVP. Now his teammates can see his blocking efforts have become more reliable and consistent.
After a Beastman kill against WMDs in the box in his 27th match his immense strength was in evidence.
After a cas on another Beastman in his 33rd match (from Rash) his strength was further seen to have improved to Giantesque proportions. A Mountain indeed!
In his 35th match the Mountain did a huge blow that would have killed a Troll from Greeen Mashine were it not for a brilliant and demented apo. An apo also saved a Black Orc's sorry life from the Mountain in match 42.
2 casualties caused in match 43 against Chaos side SOS reborn.
Another 2 casualties against Dwarfs (match 44) and he showed his strength could be put to guarding teammates.
Permanently injured a super agile Slaan catcher in his match 47.
Cas'd an Ogre in his 49th match (from Jumbo Franks).
2 casualties including a Chaos Warrior, in an otherwise poor defeat v Nurgle, in his 56th match. Then followed that up with 3 casualties against Vampires the next match. With that The Mountain became a SUPERSTAR! He can now use his strength to brush off players as he passes by.
Match 59: Badly hurt 2 Black Orcs and a legend Blitzer in a superb performance against TV Basso.
In match 64 an apo had to save a Saurus from death against the Mountain's onslaught.
65th match: Got the only cas for our side on a Nurgle warrior from Brave Warriors. This was his 40th career casualty caused and a new player record for the Forgotten Villains. But at 0-0 in the 2nd half drive the Mountain opened a turn with a QUAD skulls and was cas'd! Regen'd the niggle but the Villains then lost the ball and lost 1-0 in turn 16.
Match 69: After a relatively quiet run The Mountain caused two casualties. Badly hurting a S6 Beast of Nurgle as well as killing a rotter!
Match 74: As well as cas'ing a Longbeard The Mountain managed to twice intercept Boomer bomb throws and return them to knock down Dwarfs! But alas the match was still lost.
Match 76: Cas’d a Slaan from Clear Mount, and KO’d others, during a pitch clear win!
Match 77: Badly hurt a Black Orc and had control of a Troll. A 3rd win a row.
Match 78: KO'd a Troll first turn. Cas'd an Orc but later was somehow overpowered by more Orcs and then KO'd by a dirty gang foul! The team fell apart and lost.
Match 79: Fought off a Beast of Nurgle, and then later cas'd a Nurgle player.
Match 80: Kept a Flesh golem down but not out. Also cas'd a zombie early on and ko'd a couple too. The fifth match in a row The Mountain has caused one casualty.
Match 81: A casualty in each half, plus a KO of a strong Chaos Warrior, contributed to a strong 2-0 win against Chaos (Clawed Patrol).
Match 82: Try as he might he just couldn't get a cas in a comfortable win vs ogres.
Match 83: The team was defeated, and the Mountain managed just one cas against MenonaLoca’s Nurgle. But he was truly impressive on how he stood up to attacks when surrounded by warriors.
With his 51st casualty he is on the top 25 all-time blockers list for Blackbox Undead Mummies. And the equivalent 25 oldest list.
Match 84: Ko'd some Wood Elves, but not enough to prevent defeat.
Match 85: Contributed to blocking dominance, though no cas for him, as he got to grips with a Krox and Saurii in a 1-1 draw. Gained only his 4th MVP.
Match 86: Cas'd a star Mino in the first half! Also absorbed some claw hits and a foul in that same half. Contributed to a 2-1 win.
Match 87: Killed an emerging star Treeman early in a loss to Woodies! The other Mummy Mumm-ra killed a Zoat at almost the same moment. Brutal anger. Then the Mountain cas'd a line Elf too. And then in the 2nd half a star player Treeman! A rare 3 cas haul, including two big guys.
Match 88: Somehow was badly affected by Nurgle foul appearance. But he did appear to kill a star Nurgle warrior, only for it to regen the huge damage.
Match 89: Held up by individual Flesh Golems and zombies in a 1-1.
Match 90: No damage caused but helped us get a 1-0 win over Nurgle.
Match 91: Permanently injured a skink. Kept hitting on a Krox but could only stun it.
Match 92: Helps bring us a new recruit by killing off a Beastman in a 2-1 win.
Match 93: A defensive block caused a casualty of a Mino late in the first half. Also stood up to some saw hits. However time and again Chaos Dwarfs took him on and managed to push him back, and even knock him down!
Match 94: Was beating down on Beastmen but to frustratingly limited effect.
Match 95: The Mountain was in the thick of the fight. We were beaten for the 3rd straight match but he absorbed a lot of attacks. He was surrounded more than once, and even kicked on the ground. But was not significantly affected and still produced 13 blocks including two casualty blows on Rotters.
Match 96: Caused our only casualty, of a prehensile tailed Beastman, in a 2-1 win vs Chaos. Was also taken down early by a Mino, but then got on top of that battle.
Match 97: The warning signs had been there for a while. The team was allowing too many hits by groups of players on the Mountain. Early in this one he was clawed by a Chaos Warrior and damaged so badly he misses the next match too! Once he went our side crumbled. Bizarrely after waiting so many matches for another deserved MVP he was given one (his 5th) in his honour today.
Match 98: Couldn't take out their great Treeman but did at least cas a line elf in a horrible 4-0 defeat. But was cas'd again late on, from a Wardancer blitz!
Match 99: Pounding away, but to little success other than a KO. Often distracted away from the key action. Also followed up in to two players early in the 2nd half and was surrounded, knocked down and foul stunned.
Match 100 ! : Niggle cas'd a star Nurgle Warrior early on. But was himself cas'd when left out wide when we kicked. Was fouled and had to regen damage. In the 2nd half he KOs the Rotspawn after several attempts, including being put off by its foul appearance. Contributes to a 2-0 win.
Match 101: KO'd a star Nurgle Warrior and kept the Rotspawn and then another Warrior quiet. But no cas today.
Match 102: Cas'd 2 Dark Elves in a strong team win.
Match 103: Just a KO of a star Cwarf caused in this 1-1 draw with Chaos Dwarfs. Was comfortable hitting Chaos Dwarfs though was brought down and KO'd by a group at the end.
Match 104: Ko'd a Witch Elf in the first half, but was roaming around to little effect in the 2nd after being knocked down with 4 others by a Wizard spell. Passed the landmark of 1000 career blocks thrown!
Match 105: Killed a dirty player snotling after it kicked at Werdna. We drew 1-1. The Mountain was one of only 3 Villains still on the pitch by the end in a hard fight. He also KO'd one of the (legend) Ogres surrounding him.
Match 106: Rematch! We scrape 1-0 win at the end, just after the Mountain finally causes a casualty on one of the superstar Ogres! Also cas'd a snot earlier on.
Match 107: Cas's a beastman early. But we are smashed by the Chaos team, who cause 7 casualties. With their last action before scoring a Chaos Warrior blitzes and niggles the Mountain! A shock. Though Montgomery Mutations were the same team who made him MNG 10 matches ago... The Villains Necromancer coach then brings out a magic sponge he has kept in storage for such an event for years.
Match 108: Up against another of Bigpoppaben's teams. This time instead of the Chaos mutations side it was Nurgle. Another tough first half but in the second half the Mountain seemed to have the better of their Beast of Nurgle. But the blockless creature got up and with support recklessly equal strength hit the Mummy. And pow'd... and killed!!!! And no regen!!!
The Mountain is gone! A healing scroll is left with no chance to use.
An inquest goes on into why he only received 2 MVPs from his last 25 nominations. But regardless it is an end for this giant.
