“It is not long since we played the Krytanets when our regenerative abilities got us off the hook and helped us to a good win. This time however all 5 Undead that were cas'd failed to regenerate damage during the match and in addition our legend Draknil was also cas'd and finally suffered a permanent injury! A huge shock to the team and fans.
First half the hired Bomber Boomer showed his great value again by cas'ing Quickfingers and ko'ing Werdna the next turn (who had cas'd a Trollslayer which their apo fixed up), forcing us to advance quick with Draknil scoring. On the return Krikov Pownshot had a chance to shamble quickly toward the Runner ball carrier and brought him crashing down. His fellow runner Snuggle Ready recovered the ball though and the Faceless Hunter managed to trip up on his own chance to blitz a carrier. The Dwarfs then tied by half time.

Second half it was then a case of could we stop the advance, but it soon went wrong as the Dwarfs showed great power. After a long kick we charged forward. I kept Necrophil next to a mummy but foolishly allowed a Tackle Dwarf a chance to blitz Draknil (when N'Phil is the stronger) with a free running space. The Longbeard charged at him, at first seemed like he would only push him back but darted out his fist again into the side of Draknil's head. A brutal blow. I should have been more wary against a good coach with a tackle heavy side. Draknil's chances to jump up from blows are reduced now and he will have to be even more wary of hard tacklers and tricky manouvers but his strength and moving ability is undimmed so he will continue on!!
After that hit our team crumbled and Kryten Cookie Lover in particular wreaked havoc. Krikov Pownshot, a former Chaos Warrior, was permanently buried and yet another rookie Wight was retired before the Dwarfs got their 2nd. Switchblade did bring down the carrier once but it wasn't enough when surrounded.”
