The Rambling Roses took to the field for the first time since being freed from the Borosian dungeons. Captain Japh's plan worked perfectly, as usual, although any job always involves a little adaptation along the way, to allow for unforeseen difficulties.

2nd Officer Bodun Starn earned the team's respect through her long service as a spy in the house of the Vehemia family, so gladly following her wishes, the team first targeted the Harmony Warrior Rakthar Vehemia, though he dodged the blows and was only knocked out.

As planned, Bodun was then the first to leave the pitch for the Roses, feigning an injury. While everyone's attention was on the field, she snuck into the Harmony Decree's changing rooms and 'liberated' a valuable candelabra Sheya Qin had gifted to the team.

Da Forn, as usual oblivious to the finer subtleties of any plan, managed to rouse himself whenever he saw the opportunity for violence, and removed 2 of the Decree from the game.

Finally, late in the game, once Bodun was safely back in the Roses dugout, Vaunai used her well-practiced powers of misdirection to fool the other team, hiding the ball within her deceptively capacious uniform, and sneaking it into the endzone.

What better way to start the advance of Harmony through Orymm than a friendly exhibition match against fellow Borosians? None, clearly... If it were not for the fact that we lost.

For the Harmony Decree, our first half was successful. When at first the Rambling Roses attempted to take the ball to the side with the ball in the hands of Captain Japh. Our defense was careful and avoidant. This paid off as we pushed the Roses a little to the side, and the pressure got to Twiq-Ciq. The was got loose, got thrown in, and we took control. In the ensuing turmoil, we lacked the time to push through for a score of our own though, ending the first half at 0-0.

In the second half, we attempted to cage, with the ball in the hands of captain Weya Kantos. Quick and hard pressure by the Rambling Roses led to a longish period of back and forth action, eventually ending in the Roses' Vaunai Umbrish run with the ball, leading to the victory for the Rambling Roses.

Conclusion: Good action by the hands of the Big Guys of the Rambling Roses caused us to lose our Harmony and Unity in the second half, which lead to our downfall. Fortunately, this team is the only one we would tolerate losing against, and we lost no players in the process. Captain Weya Kantos, however, is definitely not pleased with our performance.
