“Silvermine started on offence, and promptly started removing the Pestilence from the field. Break Tackle from Sam and hits from the others tied up the ball-carrier and eventually took him down. Silvermine recovered the ball, but the Pestilence again knocked it free, taking out a blitzer in the process, and were able to keep everyone higher than AG2 away from the ball long enough for the half to expire. This was at significant cost, though, with only 9 Pestilence able to take the field for the second half, and +AG pesti John Wyndham permed out.

Repeated pickup fails in the second half let Silvermine grab the ball first, but their main ball-carrier not only snaked a dodge, he KO'd himself. The Pestilence got the ball and moved it forward, tying up most of the Skullcleavers. They managed to mark the ball once, but a blitz-and-dodge got it clear, and the Nurgles stalled for the turn 8 score.
