“monk12 won the kick off and elected to kick.
First 3 turns weren't great with Franco not being able to put down Norse mens(but at least block saved him) and losing a snot a turn. We got a cas on T4 though - BH on the Berserker was nice.
I found breaking through tough and was lucky to escape a hit on the ballcarrying Snot by the Blodge Runner, but the next turn when trying a bit of a crazy play snaked the dodge away from him. The Norse mans picked it up and ran it in on turn 7 - oooh still time for a TTM attempt!
Luckily for me the ball scattered out of bounds after his perfect defence so a snot on the line got and was launched forward, managing to land with a RR and run in the TD with a GFI.
So the 2nd half started at 1-1 and the Ogres having an 11-8 mans advantage.
The Norse mens thankfully didn't do any damage on the line and then fluffed the pick up! Snots and Brogres swarmed the ball, managing a pick up and hand off to a Snot surrounded by other Snots. This seemed like a good idea but a few 2+ later and the poor little guy was surfed by the Runner. The throw in was a good one for us though and eventually we were able to get the ball and move down field but that blasted Runner who had been apo'd after a KO and re stunned with a foul eventually caught up to our brave Snot and took him down.
Turn 16 no rerolls left happygrue was the hero who managed the 3+ pick up FTW!

This was a really fun game - probably helped by the fact my dice were pretty amazing!
