“This was a tough match against more Chaos. They had a well balanced lineup but were just hitting that bit better than us. Halfway through their drive they hit out 4 in 2 turns and our defence collapsed. The 2nd half recovery looked tough as Mumm-ra stayed KO'd. A mistake (me thinking I would get a 2d instead of 1d) when blitzing with a Ghoul (and skulling) left Son of Draknil exposed and the Chaos side took the ball. It wasn't secure so the carrier hurled it into our half and unsurprisingly our Zombies couldn't pull off special moves to get it back to our fast players in their half. We hurt some Beasts but no one could get that ball and it ended 1-0.
The Villains rarely run with a true killer Blitzer so perhaps it is no surprise that a Beastman killed Switchblade outright in his first matcher as a TPOMBER. However Zombie Werdna is now our 2nd current Zombie star!”
