#1 Lord "Hatchetman" Kurtwitz – Serious Concussion (-AV) #8 Quickfingers Murphy (Junior) – Smashed Hip (-MA)
“Here the Villains faced a well built Khemri side with a lot of wrestle fend and dp skeles as well as Guard Tomb Guardians. First half we were quite split up and our drive faltered with Son of Draknil taken down on a side after Knut fell over. We did recover the ball though and SOD just managed to dodge out and stumble over the endzone line to score. Maybe I should have risked a brief stall.
Dirty Sexy Khemri then had a Thro-ra pick up on their return drive while the front line brilliantly caused a quick KO and cas to help them score just before half time. SOd falling just in front of their carrier before he could try a tackle blitz was key.
Both Wights were out 2nd half and with trip-ups continuing (4 snaked GFIs today!! Plus some single fails) the Khemri side had little trouble getting the winner. In addition a Tomb guardian finally caused damage to 98 game Veteran Quickfingers. The Mountain had a couple of good spells of controlling two Tomb Guardians but was far too distracted by wrestle skeles on the flank a few times. A disappointing effort from the team while the opposition hit hard, but still a fun match.
Rookie Wight Kurtwitz is awarded an MVP as a joke to go along with his quick retirement.”
