“We face a tough Orc side with lots of Guard, strength, mighty blow, tackle and Dodge. First half we manage to ko a couple and an Orce gets sent off for fouling after their second kick on a Ghoul. It looks for a moment that we will stop their drive as we get players ahead of their carrier near the side and their rrs are gone. But he gets way and just manages to stumble over the endzone to score. We still have a little time and a fan helps us out by causing the only injury of the match on their key blitzer Erekose with a rock. With a touchback too we manage to get Faceless Hunter over the line before half time.
So a good half overall for us and we line up receiving with a 2 player advantage. We take it cautiously for three turns, knowing we are in a good spot. After suffering a couple of stuns we decided to blitz forward to get in to a good position. Block, skull against a rookie orc with a block zombie. But somehow I seem to have clicked skull! Oh my word! Only quad skulls could have resulted in turnover without a misclick. The Orcs then can put some pressure on rather than us being reasonably safe in our advance. But we still had a good chance to recover..but This was then followed up with the ag4 Wight Knut snaking a dodge! The Orcs steal the ball. Then next turn Knut rrs a gfi when trying to run back and Quickfingers follows up by falling over. We are left in disarray and the match lost. What a mess and one of the worse giveaways you could do, and fully punished by Nuffle and the Orcs. A fun match but a very silly error after doing well leaves us 5 games without a win.
Kraklow does though show signs of great agility.”
