“First game (but second round!) of XFL IX Orcs.

It all started with badly hurting the opposing troll (regeneration fail) and seriously injuring a lineman (the only dirty player) in the opening turn of the game. Good dice would continue throughout the whole first half and even the rest of the game.

Despite poor coaching (I once forgot I had already blitzed and moved my ballcarrier into contact with an opposing black orc thinking to surf him; another time I forgot to block a goblin before ending my turn, etc.), I managed an easy opening score in turn 8. The absence of the troll inhibited throwing a goblin, so we entered half-time with 1-0.

Bloodz Zpiller received in the second half, managing to field only 10 players, including a goblin. My own troll was KO'd in the first turn, evening the odds a little, but not too much. The opposition tried to push through, and half managed to pull 3 players through. I managed to put two players in contact with the ballcarrier though during the next turn. Unlucky dodges and 1D blocks (not many other options were left anyhow) made that I could easily knock the ball free, which fell into the hands of one of my black orcs. Bloodz Zpiller managed to steal it back though, but without being able to mount any defense. So I knocked the ball free again, into the crowd, who threw it really deep into the opposition's half. That's where I managed to pick it up to fix the score at 2-0.
