“The Forgotten Villains faced another Undead side here. It's a long time since we had faced such similar opposition. Though the Hitters have a 16 player roster with 4 Ghouls and dirty players.
It was a tale of two halves. We drove forward, our players were going down and being fouled but we kept getting up again or regen'ing. Once Kraklow passed their line it was a straightforward stall though the Hitters were trying to make us pay with our bones. But the Mountain and co sent their players to the KO box, including their main Wight blitzer, and Mummra cas'd the 2nd Wight. We were looking confident when we made it to half-time at 1-0.
But the Disco Hitters kos all came back and despite our side blitzing forward they got the better of us. After going players down we had a big turn of hitting causing 3 KOs but Knut Kneecapper tripped up, just when he tried to be a second player marking their carrier, and smashed his ankle. We just can't keep those Wights! After that the Hitters unleashed some brutal blows so they could stall out for the draw. Zombie Seal did manage to dodge and blitz down the Ghoul but it wasn't enough to stop the TD.
Disappointing not to win after the first half effort but our foes put up a solid second half. We weren't hitting strong enough to cause permanent damage but The Mountain and the Mummra were angry in the last seconds and hurt two players.
