“Here the Villains faced Orcs with loads of guard and some dodgy, diving tackle blitzers. We received. They kicked long and some of our players went up a flank. A kill by Mumm-ra of their dirty player, a cas of a Black Orc by The Mountain, and a dumb Troll really helped us have a chance to get through. Yggardis went another away. A diving tackler just managed to tag him but we brought him down and Yggardis just managed to blitz push his way clear to score.
We then high kicked back which was caught. One Orc blitzer then handed off to another. We hounded them but just could not tackle hit down a diving tackler in the way. So Duke Death could only get a 1dB and skulled. The Orcs could then relieve the pressure on the flank and their carrier just managed to gfi over the line before half-time.
Second half after a quick snap there was fighting across the pitch. The Mountain had the better of the Troll. This time we were more solid on slowing their flank with KOs to S4 players putting the pressure back on. One Orc decided to dodge through, the carrier then followed..but tripped! The Black Wight was able to get the ball but a Black Orc smashed him down. But with the Orc pushed aside the Faceless Hunter had his chance and just managed to escape with the ball. The Black Orc couldn't dodge after him. We take the 2-1.
We had some great hitting today. Though the Orcs did a lot of dodges and gfis, while we unleashed 65 blocks! Tough to score against these skilled Orcs, so the Villains fans should go home pleased with a rare 3rd win in a row.”
