Someone could question how skeletons and bone constructs can be afraid of ghosts, but that was clearly the case in this match! The first half started strong, with 2 of the Ethereals out during the first turn. Hopokom was adamant about leaving the memory of Emotmonb behind him, and surged to saw a fallen ghost. Sadly the first attempt almost had him lose control of his saw, and after the second he was ejected by the ref.

Still there were more skeletons on the pitch than ghosts, so the Pride advanced in a daring way, that left the carrier open for a blitz. Unfortunately for the Lybarasians, Pemkheza was knocked out by this punch, and decided to nap for the rest of the game.

Unfortunately for Pride, this had a demoralizing effect on the team, which was further cemented by Terseh only knocking himself down while trying to knock the ballcarrier down.

There didn't seem to be much for Pride to do, but to try and smash the opposing team, to make the second half more balanced in their favor. This tactic didn't work, and the second half started with Bleakwood having a full roster standing.

Hopokom had been allowed to keep playing, and again he chose a fallen spirit as his target. But despite having two skeletons aiding him, he once again failed to cause any serious damage. To make matters worse, he was so open in his "questionable tactics", that the ref ejected him from the game instantly, this time paying no heed to the complaints from Thelekter.

But that wasn't what caused the loss for Pride, more likely it was Bostesi running to the other side of the pitch, leaving a Banshee almost free on the abandoned side, with only one Skeleton to tie it up. Haunters took advantage of this, and soon enough the ball was deep on the Lybaras side, with ghosts in between the Banshee and the skeletons.

Soon enough the players of Pride realized the mistake with letting a Banshee through so easily, and despite trying their best, didn't manage to get anyone through the wall of ghosts.

When the fans saw how the Lybarasians gave up, they started to riot, and the ref pushed the clock back one turn. Despite this, nothing remarkable happened during these last few turns, and the game ends with a 2-0 win for the Bleakwood Haunters.

Thanks Immanuel for the game, seems like my bonesacks were somewhat afraid of your ghosts. Maybe they are secretly jealous, that your team managed to keep their speed and agility, despite sharing the fate of undeath? Really cool team, though, I really like the idea behind them. Good luck in Spring!
