Shinai's successor, ready to take up the team defensive captain mantel when the old legend should decide to retire...and he's showing he has the goods to deliver! In his sixteenth game, Shinai was really distracted by thoughts of his pending retirement (Duh, Where Am I? handicap), so Sabre did his best "Shinai imitation". I'd say twin interceptions in the game's first 3 turns fits that bill!
Well, blast. He passed the 126 spp mark without aging. Normally that's a cause for celebration, but now I am doubly cursing that lucky POW-niggle-apo fail by a goblin some games back...he could be uninjured otherwise...
And so it came to pass that in his 38th game, Sabre III fell at the claws of a madman beast of chaos. Ever since receiving his hip injury some games back, he knew he was living on borrowed time, and he made the most of it. Indeed, it was his passing and leaping ability which allowed his team to win the day, despite the grievous injuries sustained. It's only fitting that he was awarded the game MVP, to commemorate this most noble of rats, who willingly flung his body in the way to protect his teammate from certain death, so that he could continue to game on. *tips beer* This one's for you, Sabre...
