“This was, truly, the Sabre Show. Shinai must've been distracted by thoughts about his pending retirement (Duh, Where Am I? handicap), leaving his protege to take up the mantle of defensive captain. And boy, is the team in for many, many games of good defense if this rat keeps up this level of play! Two interceptions in the game's first three turns to stop a determined elven scoring push, followed by two scores before the first half was over, one after an interception and one following a kickoff blitz.

Our two times receiving the ball, he got perfect defense, but some excellent 1d blocking freed up the personnel needed to let Butterfly score thrice, spurred by the accurate passing of Sabre. It truly is a shame he didn't receive game MVP honors, as he most definitely deserved it in the eyes of every rat out there. And then to finish the day right, he passed his 51 spp skill roll w/o aging. Truly a remarkable day for this young rat, and we expect many, many great things out of him!
