Big King is an incredible squig and rider combo with the rider regarding himself as team captain (or Big King!). After 4 games they made 4 tds and 4 casualties while the Squig's agility became exceptional despite being ridden.
After 7 games they had 7 tds and 5 casualties, despite others in the team not supporting much, and Big King had developed amazing strength too!
A blitz with a casualty against an adept and a leap over a skink before scoring was one of his highlights. Another was when he shrugged off tentacles, blitzed through a Gnoblar and then leapt over a waiting bully. A defensive and offensive hero. He loves to charge around though the bloodlust can still get at even a hero like Big King.
After a great performance against Fairies (and now with 17 tds and 13 cas from 17 games) Big King has learnt how to be hard to knock down and is now recognised as the Hellmouths first superstar!
Big King made 3 TDs, including 2 from defence, and deservedly got the MVP in a match against other squig Herders (For Death comes to us all) in an astonishing display.
Scored 2 TDs and brought down the opposing carrier in his 23rd match (vs Warpfire rejects) despite being repeatedly fouled, bombed and hit.
His 25th match was a disaster game for the Hellmouths against Boardmangeek, more Tzeentch. We lost original lineup players and couldn't do anything right while our opponents were amazing. But practically on his own Big King gets off the floor, takes down the horror ball carrier and dodges away. Lorebass diving tackles to cover and Big King blitzes and sprints his way to an amazing last gasp equalizer.
In his 27th match he scored twice against a Snotling mob in a 2-1 win and also crucially saved the day again when he sprinted back to his limits and took out the snot ball carrier near the Hellmouths endzone.
8th in the all-time squig team Scoring list and 8th on the all-time squig team Rushing list.
After a year and a half break the 28th match was finally played. But his 2 main support squids were both missing the match. Big King immediately dodged through the opposition and brought down their carrier. But he was overconfident. He was then sawed down and appeared dead!! The apo managed to patch it to a niggle. Still a massive shock. He plans to eventually return.
Match 29: Big King avoids Flamer bombs to get a first TD. Then in the second half he does a classic Big King show by leaping, sprint, blitzing, ko'ing, dodging, picking up and sprinting on his way to a 2nd. Also gets the MVP.
Match 30: A truly horrifying defeat for us against Forest Gobbos. Two experienced squigs permanently injured (at least 1 retired). But despite the beatings Big King could have still saved the game. However he got lusty before 1 chance to blitz the carrier, snaked a gfi on another clear chance, then on another chance took down the carrier and dodged away but again snaked a gfi, and then also tripped up near the end of the match. A disgraceful effort! But will return.
Match 31: Part of a poor 2-1 defeat against a veteran Fae team. Immediately Big King was KO'd by an opposing fan rock throw! Alone in our backfield he was apo'd to stunned. Eventually getting the ball but was left too close to a break tackling Fenbeast and was still KO'd! Second half he leapt in and brought down a Fae and then a Fenbeast. But they still scored. Eventually he made it for a consolation TD. Now on 150 spps.
Match 32: Big King is dead!
We took a real first half pounding, against more of the hated Goblin Cheaters. Big King was trying to save the day again but was surrounded and blitzed by a superstar Pogoer and somehow killed... We had the apo at the ready, and if absolutely necessary a magic scroll. but it was kill..apo...kill! A true horror. Not only that but we had not used our magic sponge on him, and it was the niggle that pushed him over the edge!
The match ends with 1-1 as the opponents finally dwindle.
He had just made it to 25th on the Herder teams all-time top players, and 18th for Squig Hoppers. Cut down before his time!
