My first Ranked Rat team.

Don't play them very often, and had I to do it over again, some skill picks woulda been diff. Live and learn.



~ Game 1 ~

2-1 win v. Undead


Wow, kinda got beat up. Rat Ogre -MA, a Lino n and another just mng. Almost(!) threw the win away by knowingly taking greedy risk for spp at end, rewarded w/ a short kick to my weak side and then missing the Ag 4 p/up w/ a RR. Meh, if not, another 3-4 spp - no regrets (this time!).

Got apo, but could have use them this game. Blitzer Bwana Dik got MVP, Dynah-Mo skilled up w/ Kick (and, yes, would rather have it on a lino, but... with any luck, Dynah will meet retirement before I regret it.)

~ Game 2 ~
0-3 loss to D'Elfs


Nothing, nothing, nothing went right. I could not make an Ag 4 dodge w/ the Dodge skill or a GFI w/ a RR or 2d blitz an unskilled lino w/ the Block skill when it mattered - nothing.

Even one of the 3 journeyman got MVP, and I don't have enough cash from the 20k(!) Gate to hire him to replace the niggle. However, the game did its job, returning a full (if gimped) lineup, and no permanent injuries or even an mng, so it could have been a lot worse.

We shall not speak of this game again.

~ Game 3 ~
2-0 win over 'Zons.

Made some sloppy plays, should have lost, but coach DrP didn't protect ball at all. GR's are fast and squirrelly, game over.

~ Game 6 ~
2-1 win vs. Elfs

First successful OTS ever! Turn 16 heartbreaker for opponent.

~ Game 7 ~
1-0 win vs. Vamps

Snakes stopped a 1st half defensive score (and GR-Kicker skill), and bad luck stopped both the Vamp save and 2nd half defense. Hired MVP j-man & 12th player - 4th GR next, once can protect him.

the GR roles are retriever, sackers, oneturner, marker.

3x Blodge+SS, 1xWrodge+SS

Sackers get wrestle,strip ball, leap dauntless with doubles going to horns (no daunt) or very long legs if he has leap, two heads if he doesn't.

Retrievers are whomever rolls +AG, otherwise a block guy with big hand. They get leap, sure hands.
