Back in 2391 the treemen Gerard and Frederik Pinetree started a candle factory in the small village of Enthoven. By promoting the use of candles they wanted to reduce the chopping of wood for lighting purposes. The factory grew steadily. In the year 2413 Gerard and Frederik thought it would be good for the employees to play some sports. They founded the "Pinetree Sport Vereniging" (PSV). Blood Bowl was chosen as one of the focus sports. It turned out that the Treemen from Enthoven were not that fantastic blood bowl players really. Nowadays, the professional blood bowl team PSV Enthoven mainly fields contracted Wood Elf players, with only the occasional treeman positioned on the line of scrimmage. PSV Enthoven plays in the Pinetree Stadium, a field lifted 20m above the ground in a huge treehouse deep within the Enthoven forest. The pitch is illuminated by thousands of candles mounted in the surrounding tree branches. Only few of the opposing spectators find their way through the thick forest to the stadium, and even less find their way back... Two of the team's arch rivals are the SpVgg Underhacking and the Naoned Olympic Spiked Shoe. In the three matches against SpVgg so far, we obtained a 0/0/3 result with numerous killed and permed elves and treemen. We played Naoned only once but they killed 3 elves in that match and won 2-1. We will have our revenge one day and it will be sweet... Tournament Medals earned Comments OBBA Season 22 Conference division, 7/0/2 record. Second place after champion SpVgg Unterhacking. Two lost games, to Bilbokaos FC and SpVgg Unterhacking. Eric Gerets scored 4 TDs in a single game. Cup: Lost in round 1 of the league cup, again to "Angstgegner" SpVgg Unterhacking. Started to get nightmares about underworld goblins. OBBA Summer Tournament Sandpit C, 7/0/0 record with TDΔ of +14. The special '9 vs 9' rule proved to be a true blessing for our fragile and mobile wood elf players. Could work on cash reserves and skilling up players for next year's season. Had our revenge on Bilbokaos FC with a 2-0 victory. Willy vd Kerkhof caused 4 CAS in a single game. 5-0 victory against Tots n' Ham Hotspur. OBBA Season 23 League One. Spent all the money from the summer tournament and built super bloaty team with TV around 2000. Started off great with 3/2/1 record and were even leading the league half way, but last three games led to three defeats and a shameful 3/2/4 record. The cup round one was lost as well. But the season was not without prizes: Van Nistelrooij did win the prestigious OBBA most valuable player of the season award. OBBA season 28 League One. After a break of five seasons PSV returned to the great OBBA competition. The question was whether the players were still well-trained after that long break... 5/1/3 record with 4th place. Both wardancers died and training of their successors started. Catcher Hans van Breukelen scored 3 TDs during the match against Aberdeen FC. OBBA season 29 League Two. Champions!!! 7/3/0 record. Bloatiest of bloatiness with 16 man roster and about 2400TV throughout the season. Conclusion: 16 man roster pays off. In most matches I needed them all. OBBA season 34 By donating a substantial amount of bananas to the St. George Foundation we managed to get a spot in the Premiership. Finished 3rd with 2/1/2 record.
