Nurgle is one of the four major Chaos gods. Like his brother gods, Nurgle grew from a single survivalist emotion: in his case, the emotion was despair. Nurgle is the Chaos god of disease, decay, despair and destruction. Despite the nature of his influence, he takes a keen interest in his victims, caring for them in a jovial manner similar to a loving grandfather; for this reason he is frequently referred to as Grandfather Nurgle or Papa Nurgle, as well as the Lord of Decay.


The starting 11 players are all named after the creatures that caused them one way or another to become aligned with Chaos.
The starting 10 Beastmen names were <a href="http://www.gamewyrd.com/archives/monstername_results.php">generated</a> using the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=stats&op=top10&status=active&division=1&race=19&position=2630">10 Active, Ranked, Nurgle's Rotters, Beastman Top Stars</a> (at the time of team creation) as source for the name generator. Player Bios contain links to these players and also The <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Levenshtein_distance">Levenshtein distance</a> between the two.


The team has a hidden agenda but i will not disclose this until they are at least partly succesful in achieving their goals.
